Meet Gigi
Gigi is a coffee table that can hold and organize craft supplies and give your child a comfortable place to sit. With easy storage, easy cleaning, and flexible seating, Gigi lets you skip the mess of crafting and focus on the fun.
In order to make sure this solution was viable, I had to do research into the craft market to create a solution that would be effective and long lasting.
I also studied child and adult ergonomics, looking at seating positions to see how tall my seat and table had to be. This also gave me the solid numbers I needed in regards to table height to move forward with my idea for a coffee table.
Taking this information, I went and observed children in a daycare setting to see how they play and interact. I also interviewed parents and school teachers to gain more insight into a key demographic; the purchasers.
